Dear Parents/Carers,
Many thanks for your support with our Macmillan Coffee Morning, we raised £350.00 – a brilliant result for a small nursery!
Katie Goose will be leaving us on 22nd November for a new job with children with Special Educational Needs, we wish her all the best in her new role.
Children in Need: you will have received a Pudsey colouring and sticking sheet via your children’s drawer this week, please can you complete it and return it to nursery by 15th November? Please encourage your child if attending on Friday 15th to wear something with spots or stripes on it. We will be taking part in lots of spotty and stripy themed activities throughout the whole week.
Our thoughts are turning towards next month and Christmas!
Our Christmas Production will take place on 2nd and 3rd December at 9.30 am further details to follow, the children starting school next September will be performing Christmas songs and joining Moss Hey Reception class in their performance. If your child is not normally in on a Monday or Tuesday please can you make a note of these dates.
Some of the Pre-school Children will be singing Christmas Songs at Southwood Manor from 10.00am until 11.00am on December 10th, we will be sending out permission slips to the parents of those children.
Our Christmas Party is on Monday 16th December from 9.30-11:30am all children are invited even if it is not their usual Fledglings Day.
The Nest will be having a separate party – details to follow.
It is our staff Christmas party on Friday 20th December. Many of our staff live over 45mins drive away and to get home and back in time for our party would be a challenge, therefore we will be closing a little earlier on Friday 20th December at 5.00pm.
Any queries about any of the above please email or give us a ring,
Best wishes,
Julie , Jane and Team
