Dear Parents/ Carers,

Just a quick note to keep you informed of what is happening at Fledglings…

Staffing : You may have noticed that Chelsea has not been around recently, we are very happy to tell you that she expecting a baby in May.  As it is not currently recommended that anyone over 28 weeks pregnant works in an industry where they cannot social distance, she has decided to start her maternity leave a little earlier than anticipated. We wish her the best of luck and are looking forward to new baby cuddles!  Natalie our Nursery teacher has returned from maternity leave  – great timing!  Welcome back!!

Lateral Flow Testing: We are now routinely testing our staff weekly to ensure that they are Coronavirus free, we are also happy to report that the majority of our staff have now received their first dose of the vaccine.

World Book Day : We will be celebrating World Book Day on 4th March, we would like our children to dress up as their favourite book character or in their favourite dressing up outfit, we will be reading stories, making little books and enjoying story themed activities.

Fees: We review our fees annually in April, our daily rate is currently £60.50, this will increase in April to £62.00.

Red Nose Day: We will be taking part in Red Nose Day on Friday 19th March, we will be dressing up as Super-Heroes this could be anyone …. Marvel Heroes, NHS Heroes or any kind of hero the children choose!

Just to say thank you all for your support and good wishes everyone here really appreciates your kindness. It has been a tough year for so many people, lets hope we are well along the ‘road map’ back to normality before too long!
