Fledglings Christmas Calendar

Welcome to our Festive Calendar…we have some very exciting activities planned and cannot wait to get into the Christmas spirit at Fledglings. Please find a list below of planned events for all the children to enjoy. As well as all the activities listed below, the practitioners have an action-packed programme filled with wonderful festive activities, celebrations and parties for the children to take part in throughout December….something fun for everyone!

Monday 6th December 21- Hanukkah celebrations
Friday 10th December 21 – Christmas Festive Jumper Day

Week commencing 13/12/21

Monday – Christmas decorations to make Fledglings even more magical!
Tuesday – Festive games day (Such as pin the tail on the reindeer and lots more….)
Wednesday – Magic reindeer food kitchen and wish list.
Thursday – Sensory Winter Play
Friday – Christmas cards and crafts

Week commencing 20/12/21

Monday – Festive Craft Day and Christingle celebrations
Tuesday – Christmas lunch & Fledglings Magic Show
Wednesday – Festive Movie Day… Please bring a special teddy into nursery for a Christmas story and movie (with hot chocolate and cookies!)

Nursery closes on the evening of Wednesday 22nd December 21 and reopens on the morning of Tuesday 4th January 22.

Preschool Christmas Production

Unfortunately due to Covid, we are unable to go ahead with the Preschool Christmas production with the school, like we have done in the past. We will, however, be sending out a fabulous festive sing-along video of the preschool children dressed up in a Christmas costume, which we are sure you will all enjoy. Nobody is sadder than us that we aren’t able to have the parents in to see the children perform the Christmas songs, we know that it is so special and we always are so proud of the children.

Fledglings Open Day

We would like to thank the parents that requested to attend the open day on Monday 22nd November. We have been liaising with the local authority and have decided it would be best to postpone until the New Year due to rising Covid cases. However, we will contact those parents who confirmed about coming and arrange a suitable time for them to be shown around Fledglings virtually.
